Generally, in this disorder, conceiving could be delayed as there is hormonal imbalance leading to irregular menstruation and untimely ovulation. This amounts to infertility in most women. However, it is a treatable disorder and most women conceive with treatment for regularizing periods and by inducing ovulation in time. It may take certain amount of time for this to happen and hence you need to have ample patience. Also, it is essential to reduce your weight and keep it under check by consuming low carbohydrate diet and regular exercise to improve the chances of conceiving.
